What it is like learning in Brierfield
From Brierfield you have quick access to the M65, the main road into Burnley and the road to Nelson. That means your lessons can cover quiet residential streets, busier junctions and dual carriageway without wasting time travelling. Hill starts and tight streets close to the old mill buildings are good practice for control.
Because Brierfield is so close to the Nelson test centre, learners here are in the ideal position to practise the roads they will meet on test day, often within a few minutes of leaving home.
