Driving Test Car Hire in Burnley

Take your test in a car you know, with a warm-up lesson beforehand.

To take your practical test you need a suitable car, and for most learners the best choice is the car they have been learning in. Test-day car hire means you turn up in a car you already know, with a warm-up lesson first so you are settled and ready.

The car must meet DVSA requirements: it must be roadworthy, insured for the test, have a dual set of mirrors for the examiner and have the necessary seatbelts. Our car is set up for tests, so none of that is your problem.

What is included

A typical test-day package covers everything you need on the day:

  • A warm-up lesson before your test
  • Pick-up from home or college
  • Use of our dual-controlled car for the test itself
  • Support afterwards, whether you pass or need another go

Why use an instructor's car for your test

Learners who sit their test in an unfamiliar car often feel less comfortable, because mirror positions, clutch point, steering weight and visibility all feel different. Using a familiar car removes a layer of uncertainty at the moment when nerves are highest.

Which test centre?
